Odia youth Sangram Selected South Korea as Indian Delegate  in NSS activity

Berhampur, A Odia youth Sangram Mishra (20) who selected as Indian delegation to youth exchange programme-2017 self-righteous  of Odia and Odisha and joining on 19th May,2017 at South Korea.

Sangram Mishra, a bonafide student of Govt. College, Sundargarh of Berhampur has been selected by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India to be a part of a 35 member delegation team going to represent India internationally at South Korea in International Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme. The team will camp at Seoul and the programme will be commenced from 10th May to 19th May. Recently he had attended the Republic Day Parade Camp-2017 at New Delhi and on the basis of his performances he got this opportunity. Sangram is the youngest son of Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra a senior police officer and Smt. Rashmirekha Mishra.

While interacted with Sangram he said, “I love to work in social service for the common people and I am always concentrating for such kind of golden opportunity”. During the year 2015 he joined NSS at Manali for 10 days. For his type of prospectus got all rounder awards at college level during year 2015-16 and 2016-17.

In a open mind Sangram minutely attend our correspondent and express his feeling said, National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service.

NSS volunteer is required to put in minimum 120 hours of service per year for two years, i.e., total 240 hours. This work is undertaken in villages/ slums adopted by NSS unit or in school/ college campuses.

Today he is very much excited and compliment to Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports,Govt of India. The implementation of the programme has been possible due to effective collaboration/ partnership between the Centre and the college authority. At the end while questioned about his hobbies he said I love to play Guitar, songs and music and Sonu Nigam is my favourite singer.
