DELHI GOVERNMENT SHOULD SHIFT BANK-ACCOUNT TO SYNDICATE BANK BRANCH IN PREMISES OF SECRETARIAT BUILDING AT IP ESTATE Featured

Report;Bureau,Odishabarta

New Delhi,24/04/19:Public-sector Syndicate Bank has its branch at ground-floor of ten-storeyed Secretariat Building of Delhi Government at IP Estate in New Delhi. This well-equipped branch needs to be fully utilised by Delhi Government by shifting its bank-account from branch of State Bank of India SBI situated outside the Secretariat Building to branch of Syndicate Bank situated inside the Secretariat Building for benefit of all concerned including Delhi Government.

Such a shifting of banking by Delhi Government will make all banking-facilities inside the secretariat-premises. Staffers will not have to unnecessarily spend man-hours and conveyance for going to SBI branch for various banking-needs of Delhi Government. Staffers in Delhi secretariat will be benefitted by opening their accounts in the same branch for quick transfer of their salaries in their accounts in the same branch.

Senior officers of Syndicate Bank in Delhi should approach Finance Department of Delhi Government for business-development by such shifting of bank-account of Delhi Government in branch situated conveniently in premises of Secretariat Building. There is also sufficient space for expansion of bank-branch in Secretariat Building if so needed.
