SONAKSHI SINHA DESERVES ALL COMPLIMENTS FOR EXPOSING BITTER FACT OF INDIAN YOUNGSTERS NOT HAVING SIMPLE-MOST KNOWLEDGE OF RAMAYANA
New Delhi:Noted film-actress Sonakshi Sinha deserves all compliments for exposing bitter reality about Indian youngsters not having even elementary knowledge of great Indian epic Ramayana when as an expert-advisor in popular TV programme Kaun-Banega-Crorepati (KBC) anchored by mega-star Amitabh Bachchan, she could not help her co-participant about a simple-most question about Hanuman ji bringing Sanjeevni herb for Laxman ji. It was despite the fact that her residence is named Ramayana and her father and three uncles are named as Shatrughan, Ram, Laxman and Bharat, the four legendry brothers of great epic Ramayana.
Central and state governments especially ruled by BJP should take lesson from the KBC episode, and include Ramayana and Mahabharat in school-syllabus starting from primary level. Teachings of Ramayana and Mahabharat can bring about great change in thinking and life-style for betterment of creating an intelligent and tolerant citzenery.
New Delhi:It refers to media-reports that a Hindi TV serial has reached its 3000th episode on a private TV channel. Continuance of TV serials for years after years with even change in generations of the characters shown in such TV serials makes viewers TV-addicted with unimaginable number of total man-hours viewing TV-serials only adversely affecting studies of students and proper attention to children by mothers who are victims of such addiction. Already social media has ruined life-style and working-efficiency of all including office-goers.
Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting should regulate maximum number of episodes in a normal TV serial to say 52 (one year). However such a restriction may not be there on epic-serials and TV serials with single story in each episode.
Mumbai, It was in 2013 that the celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma met for the first time on the sets of a shampoo commercial. While sharing out the details about their first meeting the captain of the Indian cricket team said that he was very nervous and cracked a joke about her heels to break the ice and ease out the awkwardness hanging between them. Funnily enough, the joke increased his embarrassment rather than make things easier between them.
ANUSKHA WAS CONFIDENT WHEREAS KOHLI WAS NERVOUS
The couple married in December 2017 but it is always endearing when such famous pairs get nostalgic and reveal their emotions.
During a recent interview with Graham Bensinger, an American television presenter, the most successful captain of India said, “I thought I was being funny (when I cracked that joke), and I said something which wasn’t probably the right thing to say. She is tall and she was wearing heels (makes a gesture which isn’t too much) and she was being told that I am not that tall.”
He further added, “I am not 6 feet plus or something… she walked in with heels and was looking taller than me and I was like didn’t you get a higher pair of heels.” When the “Zero” actress said ‘excuse me’ Virat immediately became his honest self saying that he was just joking. The cricketer says since she was on the sets regularly, Anushka was very confident.
WE COME FROM SAME BACKGROUND, SAYS KOHLI
Virat Kohli also said that his wife had planned their entire wedding and kept it strictly confidential and even the guests were not aware of the venue till the last moment. The topmost batsman in the world said both of them come from middle-class families with a similar background and have worked hard to get where they are today which is how their relationship developed.
