Bhubaneswar,24/07/19: Actor Aditya Seal, who has starred in various films like ‘Tum Bin II’, ‘Namaste England’ and more recently ‘Student Of The Year 2’, will feature alongside Kiara Advani in the romantic comedy ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’.
Directed by Bengali filmmaker Abir Sengupta, the story of the film revolves around a girl from Ghaziabad who gets into hilarious situations, swiping right and left on a dating app.
Fresh out of the success of ‘Kabir Singh’, Kiara will be looking for her perfect match via dating apps in the film.
Confirming his presence in the film, Aditya told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, I am a part of this comedy of errors. I have to master a separate lingo and that will be revealed in the film.”
Speaking about his character in the film, the handsome actor said, “He’s very real and people will connect with him immediately.”
The 31-year-old actor also revealed that once he went to Tinder (an online dating app) out of curiosity, but deleted it in three days.
Recalling his experience on the app, he said, “All that swiping left, swiping right and matching with a person freaked me out, I deleted the app in three days.”
“I’ve chatted on Facebook Messenger, but Tinder and Hinge is too much for me. I felt like a bait of fresh meat,” he added.
On the other hand, Kiara had earlier admitted that she has never been on dating apps but has heard stories from her friends who use them.
“I have friends using these apps and have heard a lot of fun stories of their experiences. But nothing compared to what we have for you,” she said.
Produced by Nikkhil Advani, Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Stephen, ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’ is expected to go on floors in September this year.
Currently, Kiara has an interesting line-up of films. She will be next seen in Dharma Productions’ ‘Good News’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh. Besides, the young actress will also play the female lead in ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Shershah’.
On the other hand, after the success of ‘Student of the Year 2’, Aditya Seal is gearing-up for ‘The Invisible Mask’, a Netflix movie directed by Priyadarshan.
