The theatre competition had three categories-Skit, Mime and mono action. Out of 50 candidates 9 students have been specially marked by judges for their presentation quality. ‘We will give prizes to the students during Nandanik’s national theatre festival’, informed Monideepa Gupta.

“For Nandanik every day is a world theatre day as we engage with theatre throughout the year. However, theatre needs to be promoted in Koraput and we took this opportunity to encourage school students to take up theatre as they are the future. We have spotted great talents and will train them in Theatre”, said Prof Sourav Gupta, creative director of Nandanik.
