Bhubaneswar,24/05/19:Amidst celebrations in the BJP camp for landslide victory in Lok Sabha Elections 2019, here’s a big blow for the party from Kendrapara Parliament Constituency with its candidate Baijayant Panda, who is trailing to opponent Anubhav Mohanty.
According to the latest trends, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD)’s actor-turned-politician Anubhav was leading by over 1 lakh votes against BJP’s national vice president Baijayant Panda.
The Rajya Sabha MP was leading from Kendrapara seat throughout the day indicating his popularity among the voters.
Similarly, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, who was leading against BJD’s Pinaki Mishra from Puri Lok Sabha Constituency, is now trailing.
As per the latest trends, Odisha’s ruling BJD was leading in 13 Lok Sabha seats while BJP was leading in 8 and Congress is likely to fail to open account in the polls in the State.
