CUO ORGANISING ANNUAL CULTURAL DAY FUNCTION Featured

Koraput,18/04/19:Central University of Orissa is organizing the Annual Cultural Day Function at 10.00. a.m. on 20 April 2019 at its permanent campus, Sunabeda. Prof. S. K. Palita, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor I/c. of the University and Prof. Krushna Chandra Biswal, Dean and Principal, Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital,  Koraput will inaugurate programme in a inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.   

As per the official notification by Dr. Ramendra Parhi, Dean of Student Welfare I/c. of the University the day long programme comprises with the song, drama and dance which will be performed by the students of each department of the University. The University has presently fourteen departments and each department are given 22 minutes to show case their performances. This Cultural Day function is being organised on the 150th birth anniversary of our Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. 

Prof. Palita the VC I/c. conveys his best wishes to the students for successful programme. He said “the programme will definitely showcase the internal hidden creative talent of my students”.  This is the first student oriented large scale programme under the dynamic leadership of present acting Vice-Chancellor I/c., Prof. S. K. Palita. Koraput being the land of diversity and rich culture, this programme is expected to throw some glimpses of this culture.
