NIT ORGANIZES A NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ANDROID APP TESTING

ROURKELA,04/12/18: National Institute of Technology the pioneer engineering college of state has organized a National Workshop on Android App Testing which was inaugurated by Prof. Kamala Kanta Mohapatra, Dean, Academics. In all, 30 participants from across the country participated in the workshop which was supported by TEQIP-III, NPIU, Govt. of India and Co-Sponsored by Software Technology Park of India and State Bank of India. Inaugurating this workshop the Chief Guest has highlighted the importance of Android App Testing with some examples. The Guest of Honor, Ashok Kumar Yadav, Joint Director Software Technology Park of India, Rourkela, Odisha in his address said the relevance and different usages of Android App Testing in various fields particularly in social media. He had also cited different activities of STPI. The key coordinator of the workshop, Prof. Chitta Ranjan Patra, TEQIP, NIT, Rourkela has highlighted about the Android App Testing and its activities carried out under TEQIP-III. Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Durga Prasad Mohapatra, Convener, RST-2016 and briefed about the workshop whereas Prof. Bibhudatta Sahoo, Co-Convener of the workshop proposed the vote of thanks.
