GANJAM COPS RECOVER STOLEN SILVER AND CASH Featured

Ganjam,28/09/19:Police on Saturday arrested one absconding accused in connection with stealing of silver from a Businessman Laxman Das while he was going to Kokolunda Village for Silver business.

On dated 14.09.19 at around 2.30 PM.two unknown culprits committed a theft about 7/8 Kgs Silver item from him. On same day the complainant Laxman Das reported at police station on same day.

The accused persons have been identified as A Sekhar.

During the course of investigation accused person A Sekhar of Baragaon under Aska PS was apprehended today before the Police.

The police have seized silver items all total 7.2 Kg ,One Pulser BIke and Cash 49,000/- from his possession.

In his complaint with Bhanjanagar police on Sept,14, Laxman  had alleged that some miscreants had stolen silver from his on the way. Based on the complaint, a probe was initiated and police have investigated the matter and apprehended A Sekhar the  accused persons.

A case has been registered by Bhanjanagar Police under relevant Sections of the IPC against the accused person and forwarded to the court today.

SP,Mr Brijesh Ray said and added that further investigation is on to know his previous involvement if any.

However, further sources said,the accused involved in various cases under Police station of Chatrapur,Rambha and Bhanjanagar.

In connection a case was registered at Bhanjanagar vide the case No: no-290/19 14/09/19 u/s 379 IPC.
