While around fifty thousand of public rejoiced the effigy of Ravan being burnt, this CSR initiative added cheers to the public of Kashipur, especially the women in the periphery of Utkal Alumina International Ltd(UAIL). Attractive and entertaining fireworks show by a team from Bobbili was enjoyed by one and all. The varieties of shots fired to the sky was creating beautiful images and good sound on the dark sky. Fire Work enthralled the august gathering and so also the dedication of ambulance.

“Kashipur is always engrossed with health and nutrition issues.  Rayagada has been included as an aspirational district by Niti Aayog, GOI. Health, nutrition and education on one hand themselves determine the quality of life, and on the other, they are also important factors determining economic productivity and therefore employability of a person. They have thus been assigned the highest weightage. In this context health activity of CSR wing of UAIL has converged with the broader health vision of the district by donating the ambulance for the wellness of the women around the factory. Thus the CSR programme has been people centric in improving quality of life”, said Smt Bidulata Huika, Ombudsman, Rayagada.
