Bhubaneswar,10/10/18:Naveen Patnaik,Chief Minister of Odisha on Wednesday directed the collectors of Ganjam, Gajapati,Khurda, Nayagarh and Puri to ensure zero casualty in the state. 

The state on high alert as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that cyclone Titli is moving towards Odisha coast.

The state government has also ordered closure of all schools, colleges and anganwadi centres in four districts of the state- Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri and Jagatsinghpur  from today in the wake of the cyclone that is likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm. 

After the emergency meeting this morning AP Padhy,Chief Secretary addressed to Media and said the  ODRAF and Fire Services personnel have been instructed to be in preparedness to deal with a possible emergency. The IMD also warned of heavy rainfall at some places in coastal districts such as Ganjam, Gajapati,Puri and Jagatsinghpur from last night
